Ok, so we were in Wellington (NZ) last week and we managaged to go on the Ferry, across to Days Bay and Eastbourne. On the walk from Eastbourne to Days Bay we picked up a bag of plastic off the beach! Yes I'm talking about Aotearoa - New Zealand. I told my son that every time we pick up a piece of plastic we save one fish or marine animal such as a turtle.
Take action - do you bit for the environment and the future - take a bag with you next time you visit the beach or a water way and spend 15-30 minutes of your time collecting plastic. You will also still enjoy our beautiful coastline and feel the added bonus of having made a positive difference.
